We are excited to announce the 2021 J.D. Power SSI survey results. Nissan has moved up to the 5th ranked spot in sales satisfaction in from of Honda (ranked 7th) and Toyota (ranked 14th). This was the first time in 15 years Nissan has taken the top spot among the Asian brands. Nissan’s improvements AGAIN outpaced the industry average rising 3 points and one rank position. This marks the 4th consecutive year of gains by Nissan.
The rating is a combination of quality and dependency scores. The quality scores are based on the initial consumer response and feedback within the first 90 days of their new purchase. This year, Nissan had three cars awarded with the quality rating, the 2021 Nissan Altima, the 2021 Nissan Maxima, and the 2021 Nissan Murano.
The dependability scores come from longer-term ownership experiences of 3 years. The 2018 Nissan Frontier ranked among the highest for reliability and dependability!
